Well done to FSG Members Shoreham Fort who have had their First World War Memorial Trench officially recognised on the Imperial War Museum's War Memorials Register.
Shoreham Fort is being restored by a dedicated group of volunteers and is well worth a visit. Dating from 1857 Shoreham Fort is one of the best survivors of the small batteries built around the coast of the UK in that period. More on the history is available here.
