As part of the Fortress Study Group's education initiative, David Flintham has recently recorded a webinar for 'the world turned upside down' an educational resource about the British Civil Wars for whom the FSG is an educational partner.
Fortifications and sieges played a much greater role than is often thought in the wars across the three Kingdoms. Many of these sites which range in scale from 'sconces' to resused medieval castles can still be seen.
