FSG is pleased to announce the recipients of its latest round of grant funding. Chair of the awards committee Paul Beckmann said
“I am delighted to announce that we have awarded grants to four very varied and exciting projects; the translation of an early C17th manuscript on English fortifications, the simulation of a rolling bridge and its surroundings in a Belgian fort, the public dissemination of research about the WW2 defences of Chatham and a new information board for an Anti-Aircraft battery in Cornwall.
It is fantastic to see how the grant scheme is growing with twice as many applicants and 33% more funding thanks to generous donations to our fundraising appeal. We could have made more awards but were limited by available funding so if you think these are deserving projects, please consider donating to our fundraising appeal so that we can do more next time.”
